A girl while reading this can remember all those memories she had since a child; dreams of her wedding day, what all would she wear, what all would she do!

But often Indian weddings are just opposite to those hassle-free dreams that we grew up weaving. As the D-day arrives, not only family, but relatives too over-crowd the bride with numerous tasks and pre-wedding rituals to be performed leaving her with no time to live the day she always dreamt of.

The day seems to become extremely long for the bride and with all those pre-wedding rituals she gets no time to put in through small details, which might come handy for the next few days after her marriage. From packing to nipping snacks in between, here is a list of 6 most important things that girl must ensure during the day of her wedding:

Prepare a to-do list

You must do this either early morning or the night before your wedding. Write in all things that you don't want to forget in the hassle during the day.

Even if it includes, re-confirming your parlour appointment, final checking of the dress for fitting, taking out time to sit and talk to your parents and siblings, prioritize things in advance this will help you save from regretting even the smallest thing in the days to come.

Handover your wedding dress to your confidante

As you will be busy with other tasks during the day like haldi, or 'tel' ceremony so it would be better if you handover the responsibility of any last minute fixing of your wedding dress along with all the accessories to your friend or any confidante.

They will be more than happy to help you!

Don't skip eating

Last minute dieting won't do magic so better snack up yourself well before engaging in wedding activities (unless you are fasting as a ritual).

Make sure that you eat proper breakfast; this would give you enough energy to last through your hectic day. Try not to skip your lunch but even if you don't seem to eat anything, then just go for soup or green lettuce salad with seasoning and chaas (Buttermilk).
