New Delhi: Several youngsters are trimming down their Valentine's Day plans as a result of the dampened economic state - low increments and slow promotions, according to a survey conducted by online matrimony site Jeevansathi.com.
Love birds usually have lavish plans for the special occasion Feb 14, but as many as 44 percent boys and 34 percent youngsters out of the respondents said that the underlying grim economic sentiment will impact their Valentine Day celebrations.
The trend was more prevalent in metros, where about 50 percent males said that this year they have cut down on their Valentine's Day plans, said a statement.
