Hubert de Givenchy, an iconic French designer breathed his last on March 10 at the age of 91. The king of fashion influenced haute couture in the 1950s and 1960s. He also has the credit of creating the little black dress.

He clothed Queen of England Elizabeth II, Princess Grace of Monaco, the Duchess of Windsor, etc. However, his muse was Audrey Hepburn, whom he has dressed for films like Breakfast at Tiffany and Funny Face. Givenchy, born on February 21, 1927 was only 25 when he founded his own label. Before that, he worked for Pierre Balmain, Christian Dior and Elsa Schiaparelli.
