Hubert de Givenchy, an iconic French designer breathed his last on March 10 at the age of 91. The king of fashion influenced haute couture in the 1950s and 1960s. He also has the credit of creating the little black dress.

Givenchy, born on February 21, 1927 was only 25 when he founded his own label. Before that, he worked for Pierre Balmain, Christian Dior and Elsa Schiaparelli.
