Happy Gururpurab 2021: The festival of Gururpurab or Guru Nanak Jayanti holds a great significance in the Sikh community and will be celebrated on November 19 this year. The Sikhs not just in India but all over the world celebrate this day with great zeal and enthusiasm. For those unversed, the day marks the birth aniversary of the founder of 'Sikhism' -- Guru Nanak Dev Ji and this year it would be his 553rd birthday. The first guru of Sikhs was a great preacher of love and goodness. He traveled a lot, spent a life full of wisdom and beared the flag of virtue, equality, goodness and love. Not only this but he was also a great poet and his thoughts, views and words have been cataloged as 974 poetic hymns in the holy book 'Guru Granth Sahib.'
