Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava
Television star Karan Patel, who shot to fame with Star Plus hit show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is all set to become father. The actor is expecting his first child with wife Ankita Bhargava. The baby is due around November.
Ankita is reportedly in her second trimester, however, the couple is waiting for the right time to make the news public. When indianexpress.com contacted couple and congratulated them, they texted back with a smiley, hence confirming the reports.
The duo tied the knot in a fairytale wedding on May 3, 2015. Earlier, in an interview with indianexpress.com, Ankita opened up on starting a family. She said: ''Oh yes! We are ready for it but all in good time. Karan loves kids and he will be the best father. I can’t wait to start a family with him. I think even Naughty (their pet dog) is ready for some company.”

Ankita's father Abhay Bhargava is also a part of Karan's show YHM and co-incidentally plays his father-in-law in the show. Karan, 34, made his acting debut with Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, however, his first show as a lead actor was Kasturi. Ankita, on the other hand, has done shows like Dekha Ek Khwaab, Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein and Ekk Nayi Pehchaan.
