Telly actress Disha Vakani, who plays the role of Dayaben in the popular TV show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, had taken her time off from the show after giving birth to her baby girl. However, the latest buzz has it that the actress will not return to the show.
According to a report, Disha Vakani had earlier shot for the promo of the show and was excited to come back to the show. However, her husband Mayur Padia was concerned about the upbringing of the child and didn’t want her to return to the show. Mayur thinks that the child needs more time and attention and if Disha joins the show, she won’t be able to give that much time to the kid.
Thus, the actress may not make a comeback to the show.
Earlier, the producer of the show had told Times of India, “The shooting conditions are tough and since Disha's baby is still very young, she needs her. We haven't discussed about her return yet and there is no official confirmation on Disha quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah."
The actress had shared the first picture of her baby girl, Stuti on social media. She gave birth to her daughter on November 30, 2017. In the pic, her little princess has worn a blue top and she is wrapped in a pink blanket.
Initial reports suggested that Disha had hiked her fees to mark her comeback in the show. She was apparently charging Rs 1.5 lakh per episode. And she had also put forth a condition to work only for 15 days a month, and between 11 am to 6 pm. While her demands were supposedly fulfilled, we wonder if she'll be a part of it now. Her character is one of the most loved ones on the show and it's quite iconic.
