Recalling 25 years of Aap Ki Adalat, Rajat Sharma revealed that he never thought that the show would turn out to be this big as when he hosted the first episode with the then Chief Minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav. Rajat Sharma said that he always keeps his calm and cool when asking questions to his guests on Aap Ki Adalat.

Rajat Sharma said that he and his wife Ritu Dhawan, the Managing Director of India TV, used to work in the same place and love happened eventually over time. However, it was the mutual love for their work that has kept them connected throughout the years.
Furthermore, Rajat Sharma said that Ritu Dhawan is the backbone behind Aap Ki Adalat. “She is the one who directs the show, but she never takes due credit for her. During the 21st celebration of Aap Ki Adalat, I forced her to come on stage so that people could see who the person is, who works hard behind the camera”, said Rajat Sharma.
