Ekta Kapoor finally reacts to rumours of replacing Hina Khan as Komolika in Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2
Ekta Kapoor’s television drama Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 is ruling the TRP charts these days. Not just the TRP but the show and its characters are garnering much praise from all the corners especially when it comes to the style statements of Komolika played by Hina Khan. However, the rumours were buzzing in the gossip galleries that the actress is leaving the show and fans will see a new Komolika soon. Even Hina Khan in an Instagram video confirmed that she will be quitting the show because of prior work commitments but didn’t reveal anything about the new Komolika. Now, the queen on Television, Ekta Kapoor has herself reacted on the rumours and said that there can be only one Komolika.
Recently, Ekta Kapoor attended the BCL season 4 along with Hina Khan, Karishma Tanna and Krystal D’souza where these beauties were seen having a gala time. Hina took to her Instagram story to share a video in which Ekta Kapoor revealed, there is only one Komolika and no one is replacing her. For the unversed, soon after Hina Khan declared her temporary exit from the show, names like Krustal D’souza, Anita Hassanandani, Aalisha Panwar and others started surfacing on the internet who can play the new Komolika. Well, this video puts all rumours to rest.
It was also reported that rather than replacing Komolika in Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2, the makers of the sow are planning to introduce a new villain, to be played by Namik Paul. He will be seen as Prerna’s love interest in the show and will plot against Anurag to ruin his life. Namik will start shooting for the show from next month.
Also rumours of cold-war between Hina Khan and Erica Fernande was also surfacing the internet. However, Hina put them to rest when in an interview with Bombay Times, she revealed, "Erica is a very sweet girl. In fact, everyone in the team is nice. Sometimes, you connect with people instantly, or you take time. There are also times when two people, who are good individually, fail to gel with each other. Shaadiyaan toot jaati hain." She added, "The other actors share a great rapport with each other because they have been shooting together since six months. They have a lot of memories; I can understand that. Erica and I talk a lot, but I would not say that we are friends. May be, with time we would become friends, but I don’t see that happening because I am taking a break from the show in the next month-and-a-half.”
