India TV’s mega conclave TV Ka Dum, hosted by Saas Bahu Aur Suspense host Charul Malik and actor Maniesh Paul, began in full swing and the Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma delivered keynotes and addressed the importance and growth of Television industry in the country over the years. Rajat Sharma pointed out how the three Big Khans of Bollywood - Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan - have contributed immensely to the TV industry.
Speaking about Aamir Khan’s contribution to TV, Rajat Sharma said, “Aamir Khan was one of the first celebrities who made me realize the importance of the television industry. I was surprised when he hosted the popular Satyameva Jayate show on TV and told him that you can spread messages through films too. To which he replied that the small screen holds much power and caters to a larger audience”.
“Salman Khan does Bigg Boss, graces the small screen and entertain the audience to the fullest”, added Rajat Sharma.
Rajat Sharma also added that the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, who will be gracing TV Ka Dum later in the day, will throw light upon the importance of the TV Industry.
Besides the Khans, Rajat Sharma also pointed out how Bollywood's megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been charming everyone with his popular TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
