Sunny Leone, who has worked in several Bollywood films, is all set to make her Tamil debut with Veeramadevi. The actress has kickstarted the shooting for the film and, she marked the special day by sharing a picture on social media. The makers had earlier revealed that Sunny would be training in martial arts, sword fighting and horse riding. Veeramadevi is all set to release in five different languages - Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
Taking to her Twitter account, Sunny Leone shared a picture with a caption that read, “#Veeramadevi shooting started today!! So excited @steevescorner @vcvadivudaiyan @DoneChannel1”
Composer Amrish Ganesh, known for his work in Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva, has been signed to score the music for the project. Actor Navdeep plays the villain role in the film which reportedly has nearly 70 minutes of CG sequences. Veteran actor Nasser also plays an important role in the movie.
“I have always liked doing action sequences. I was waiting for a script like this for a long time. I started preparing for this movie from the minute director V C Vadivudayan narrated me the story. I have a special love towards south India. I have a lot of my fans here, especially Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. My character is extremely strong and I think if there is any representation of woman I would love to play, it's Veeramadevi. She is very determined and an independent woman," Sunny had said about her role earlier.
Sunny enjoys huge fan following. The lady featured in many Bollywood films and has even worked in many item songs. Thus, it is yet to be seen if she manages to spell magic with her Tamil debut. The lady was last seen in Tera Intezaar opposite Arbaaz Khan. The movie doomed at the box office.
