Kim Draper, a Savannah cat breeder is the proud owner of Scarlett's Magic, a cat who stands at 17.1 inches from shoulder to toe, and has her name in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's tallest domesticated cat, reports The Daily Mail, London.
With her beige coat and dramatic auburn and black spots, 18-month old Scarlett's Magic is also awaiting the result of a second nomination as the longest (tip of the nose to tip of the tail) domestic cat.
'We are absolutely thrilled,' said Kim Draper, whose husband Lee runs the Savannah Cat Shoppe in California.
'The Savannah is the most intelligent, loving and beautiful animal companion a family could wish for.'
Savannahs are becoming increasingly popular in California due to their unique appearance and learning abilities, says Kim. 'They are active animals, they like to play, they like to be near their owners and family'.
'Savannahs are for people who want a really unique pet and this is as close to a wild cat as you can get in the state of California', Kim Draper said.
