Alia Bhatt celebrates BFF Akansha Ranjan Kapoor’s birthday
Alia Bhatt with her friends recently celebrated her BFF Akansha Ranjan Kapoor’s birthday. And the video of their celebration is now doing rounds on the internet where everyone is seen enjoying the cake-cutting ceremony.
The clip features, birthday girl Akansha, dressed in a printed black and white shirt and black pants. She is seen struggling to cut her birthday cake as the knife gets stuck for a moment. The video also has a bunch of friends surrounding her including Alia who is clad in a white top and grey trousers. The Raazi actress appears to be recording the entire cake-cutting ceremony while everyone else is clapping and singing “Happy Birthday.”
That’s not all, Alia also shared a throwback pic from her childhood where she is seen playing with her bestie Akansha. Captioning the adorable image Alia wrote, “happy birthday my life”.
For the unversed, Akansha is also an actress who made her debut with Kiara Advani’s Guilty on Netflix. Talking about the experience to Hindustan Times she had said, “I auditioned for the film without knowing much about the project other than the fact that it was a digital film. Once I got shortlisted, they asked me to come for a meeting and then told me that I was locked. I had to wait for only 13 days as against any other film where you need to wait for a month or so.”
She further added,
“It’s such a great time to be an actor. Nobody cares about how pretty you are or the kind of body type that you have. What matters is if you are a good actor. The Dangal (2016) girls (Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra) are doing so well. If you are good performer, you’ll be respected for your work and you’ll eventually get more work.”
