Kangana Ranaut's Twitter suspension has ended. The actress, who was permanently banned from the microblogging site in May 2021, for repeated violations of rules, specifically the "Hateful Conduct and Abusive Behaviour policy”, announced her return on Twitter with a message that read, "Hello everyone, it’s nice to be back here (sic)." Currently, Kangana's Twitter handle has over 2.9 million followers and she is following over 270 handles from her account.

Kangana Ranaut returns on Twitter

On Tuesday, Kangana Ranaut's Twitter handle was restored after over a year and a half ban, which was enforced on May 2021. The company is now owned by Elon Musk. Announcing her return on Twitter, Kangana wrote, "Hello everyone, it’s nice to be back here (sic)." She also shared a snap of her now-active Twitter handle on Instagram stories and wrote, "Glad to be back."

After this, she also shared a video announcing that the filming of her upcoming film Emergency has concluded.

Why was Kangana Ranaut's Twitter handle suspended?

Back in 2021, Kangana Ranaut was making some controversial tweets. She had tweeted about Farmers' protests, West Bengal poll violence and other national issues, which were deemed inflammatory and against the rules of Twitter. According to Twitter's Abusive Behaviour policy, "one may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so or attempt to harass, intimidate, or silence someone else’s voice". Seemingly, Kangana's tweets at that point were in violation of Twitter policies.

On the movies front, Kangana will be seen in Tejas, where she will portray the role of a fighter pilot. Her debut production, Tiku Weds Sheru, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur, is also eyeing release this year. Apart from this, she will be seen in Sita: The Incarnation, based on the character from the epic Ramayana.
