When Kangana Ranaut bonded with Rekha over sari and everything classy at awards night (Pics, Videos)

The fearless Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut met legendary actress Rekha at an awards event on Sunday. And, it was a sight to beloved as the two talented actresses were seen bonding over sari and everything classy. Rekha was all praises for Kangana saying that if she had a daughter then she would have been just like the Manikarnika actress.

It so happened that Kangana Ranaut, who is gearing up for her next Bollywood offering Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansim , presented the legendary veteran Bollywood superstar Rekha with a special award. 

At the time of delivering her acceptance speech, the Umrao Jaan actress took the special moment and platform to shower praises upon her presenter.  The versatile actress, who is also a nominated MP at the Rajya Sabha, mentioned how Kangana is the one person from the Bollywood fraternity she adores and loves the most.

She went on to add that if she had a daughter, she would have been like Kangana.

Further expressing her admiration for the Queen actress, Rekha said that Kangana is like Jhansi Ki Rani in real life, too. Kangana would next be seen essaying the role of Rani Lakshmibai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which also marks her directorial debut. 

While Rekha was her usual gorgeous self in a golden Kanjeevaram, Kangana looked etheral in the black and gold sari gifted to her. The two ladies greeted each other with a warm hug.

The event also saw the attendance of other veteran actresses like Helen, Asha Parekh, Zeenat Aman, Aruna Irani and Jaya Prada. Rekha and Kangana Ranaut were also seen bonding with choreographer Saroj Khan.

While Kangana Ranaut had no releases in 2018, the curly haired beauty is all set to wow her fans with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which is slated to release January 25.
