The legendary actress Sridevi was cremated on Wednesday in Mumbai and now, latest reports suggest that her immersion rituals will take place today. Boney Kapoor and family will be traveling to Chennai today with Sridevi’s ashes to carry out the immersion rituals, according to a Times of India report. The Kapoor family will reportedly proceed to Rameswaram from the state capital to perform the Asthi Visarjan.
“A Falcon 2000 aircraft chartered for the trip will depart from Mumbai airport. The family is expected to return to the city later tonight”, a source was quoted as saying to the leading daily.
Sridevi Boney Kapoor passed away in Dubai, where she went to attend Mohit Marwah’s wedding function. The actress was found unconscious in the bathroom by her husband Boney Kapoor. Her autopsy reports claim that she died of ‘accidental drowning’ following loss of consciousness.

Hairstylist Noorjahan Ansari informed that Sridevi used to like Rajesh’s work and thus he was assigned the work to do her makeup whereas Rani was there to guide them.
Sridevi’s was last seen in the revenge drama Mom. The evergreen actress will be seen last on the big screen in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero.
