Sara Ali Khan made her debut with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Lauded from her brilliant performance, Sara has been receiving praises for her portrayal of Mukku in the film. Recently, along with Kedarnath screenwriter Kanika Dhillon and assistant director Jehan Handa, Sara wore a burkha and watched her film Kedarnath at a Mumbai theatre to notice the audience’s reaction. The pictures have hit the internet and have now gone viral for all the right reasons.

“and at the movies with ‘nusrat’ When u go to the theatres to check the audience response for your film!! Thank you for all the love,” Kanika wrote in her post as she shared selfies from her expedition. Also spotted in the frame was Sara Ali Khan's mother and actress Amrita Singh.

Sara Ali Khan recently said she dreamed of taking the big screen by storm ever since she was four. The starlet made a splash with Kedarnath, which hit the theatres on December 7.

As nepotism is an unavoidable word in the industry, Sara, who is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, spoke about it at length in an interview. Asked if she was being bogged down by having celebrity parents, she said that it is not necessarily about being a star-kid, but being her mother's daughter.

"My mother is a huge part of who I am. I look up to her a lot. It is not necessarily about being a star-kid but about being her daughter. She has always led her life in a very simple and real way. And she has tried to imbibe these qualities in both me and my brother. And it is not because she has been an actor but because even before she became an actor, she was this 'bindaas' and honest person. I have lived with her for 23 years, so I hope some of it has rubbed off me," she was quoted saying to the news agency.

Sara's Kedarnath revolves around the love story between a Muslim porter (Sushant Singh Rajput) and a rich Hindu tourist (Sara Ali Khan). The film is set against the backdrop of the catastrophic floods that hit the shrine-town in 2013.
