Call him Dabangg Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan or Tiger, all these names only give a glimpse of the charisma that the superstar of Bollywood, Salman Khan oozes with each and every film. Salman has completed 30 years in Bollywood as his first film released on August 22, 1998. The actor played a small role in the film Biwi Ho To Aisi starring Rekha and Farooq Sheikh and his voice was also dubbed by another artist. Though he shot to fame with his Sooraj Barjatya's 1989 film Maine Pyar Kiya, his fans still remember his small role in his debut film.
Maine Pyar Kiya was Salman's first movie with a lead role and he even won Filmfare Best Debut Award for it. In 1994 Salman gave another evergreen film of Indian cinema, Hum Apke Hain Koun..!. It is Sooraj Barjatya's another directorial which is loved by Indian audience. His another breakthrough role was of Radhe Mohan in Tere Naam, which released in 2003. It was kind of Salman's comeback film that made him 'god' of jilted lovers. From his middle-parted hairstyle to dialogue delivery, everything became a trendsetter.
After back-to-back flops for six years, Salman once again roared at the box office with Prabhudeva's action entertainer- Wanted. The movie which released in 2009 helped him to restore his fan base. Then came Dabangg, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and the rest is history. Though there were some box office failures like Tubelight and Race 3, Salman embraced the critical response with an open heart.
