Rishi Kapoor gets clicked with Robert De Nero in New York
This is no secret that Rishi Kapoor is in New York these days along with his wife Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor for his medical treatment. Since the time he is there, many Bollywood celebrities have been visiting him and wishing for his good health. However, this time it was not any Bollywood celeb but a Hollywood superstar who gave Rishi Kapoor a ‘wow moment’.
Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to share a picture with Hollywood’s most handsome star Robert De Niro and was all praise for him. The picture he shared featured son Ranbir Kapoor along with these two veteran actors. Sharing the picture, Rishi wrote, “Wow moment. Impromptu meeting with Robert De Nero on 65th and 3rd. He knew Ranbir coz he had met him and Anupam and said come over with Kher for a drink! Simplicity and super stardom. I realized I have been such a bloody brat. Cannot get over his demeanor. Thank you Bob !”

Anyone would become starry-eyed after seeing so much talent in one picture. Rishi Kapoor also mentioned Anupam Kher in his tweet who is a continuous visitor and very close friend to the actor. Earlier Rishi Kapoor was also seen strolling on the streets in Manchester with Anupam Kher.
On the other hand, Sonali Bendre, who is also in New York for her treatment of the deadly disease, also visited the Kapoors for a cozy dinner at their place. Other than Sonali, Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra and Javed Akhtar have also paid a visit to Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt also stayed with them for a few days.
By the end of last month, Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to inform his fans that he is leaving for the city to get himself treated and not to speculate anything. He wrote, “Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus”of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I will be back soon!”.
