Kartik Aaryan reveals why he skipped PM Narendra Modi's Swearing-in Ceremony
Kartik Aaryan has been ruling the headlines for all the good reasons. The actor has become the first choice of filmmakers after his back-to-back successful films, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi. These days, the actor is making news for his rumoured relationships with Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan. On the other hand, while all of Bollywood was present at PM Modi’s swearing-in ceremony in the capital, Kartik Aaryan’s presence was much desired by the fans. However, the actor revealed that he skipped the prestigious ceremony because of some family matter.
Talking about the same to Deccan Chronicle, Kartik Aaryan revealed, "I would have loved to be there, but I was not there due to some family matters. But the event really went off well and I do hope that Modiji coming back will be good for the film industry." He further talked about his Bollywood career and said, "I feel like I am a part and have become an important part of the industry after my last two films, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi, have been successful. The last 18 months have instilled a lot of confidence in me, and also validated the choice of films I have been making as an actor."
On the work front, Kartik already has two films in his kitty. He will be seen in Imtiaz Ali's next project opposite Sara Ali Khan and Pati Patni Aur Woh alongside Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar. "It tells me that I am choosing my films correctly and I hope that my next two films, with Imtiaz Ali sir and Pati Patni Aur Woh does equally well," concluded Kartik.
Recently, Ananya Panday was asked about her rumoured link-ups with Kartik and she said that she is just enjoying all the attention. While talking to Zoom TV, Ananya Pnday sang praises of Kartik and said, "From Kartik, I've just learned how selfless he is as an actor. He thinks about how to make a scene better. He won't just think about his lines and how to make that better. And I think he is so comfortable with the language in Hindi. So, he is so spontaneous and can impromptu make up jokes and stuff.”
