Gully Boy's MC Sher Siddhant Chaturvedi confesses he's dating someone from Bollywood

Siddhant Chaturvedi aka MC Sher from Gully Boy also revealed that he was pursuing a career in Chartered Accountancy before making it big in Bollywood.

Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy is being loved by all. From Murad, Safeena to MC Sher, all characters have struck a chord with audiences' heart. The film has not just made 'Apna Time Aayega' a youth anthem but also made people fall in love with MC Sher. Played by newbie Siddhant Chaturvedi, MC Sher is the one who mentors Murad essayed by Ranveer Singh and teaches him to stand for himself against all odds. One has to agree that all actors have done a phenomenal job but the one that stood out was the debutant Siddhant Chaturvedi. After watching Gully Boy, everyone wanted a friend-cum-mentor like MC Sher.

Siddhant Chaturvedi is currently basking in the success of Gully Boy. He has now got a separate fan base and his Instagram followers are constantly rising. Recently in an interview, the actor revealed that while he is enjoying all the appreciation, he is still absorbing all the crazy things that come along with fame. Siddhanth, who has become hot favourite among girls confessed that he is taken. In an interview with Bollywood Life, Siddhant revealed that he is dating someone. The actor gushed, ''Yes, I am seeing somebody. She is from the industry, but not an actress.” His statement must have broken many hearts.

Siddhant also expressed his love for Ranveer Singh, with whom he shared the screen in Zoya Akhtar's directorial. ''He is so amazing. I have no words, I just love him. He's been so warm and so kind, he's like my MC Sher off-screen. There was a role reversal. I used to be like 'baba kaisa hai, kaisa kiya maine.' And he gave me a lot of confidence you know and he's just a beautiful person,'' he said in an interview with Times Now.

Coming from a non-filmy background, Siddhant was always clear that he wants to do something big in his debut movie. According to the actor, he can't do a role just for the namesake. Further talking about his dream filmmaker, the actor said he wants to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

For unversed, Siddhant has earlier appeared in Amazon Prime's Inside Edge and several TV commercials. Interestingly, Zoya Akhtar met him at the success bash of the web series and asked him to audition for Gully Boy. Siddhant was pursuing a career in Chartered Accountancy before making it big in Bollywood.
