DeepVeer Wedding: Pictures of Ranveer Singh flaunting Deepika’s name written on his palm in mehendi go viral

The hype around Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding refuses to die down.  The newly-wed couple finally arrived in Mumbai on Sunday after their dreamy wedding in Lake Como, Italy. Fans and paparazzi swamped the airport to catch the first glimpse of the married couple post their wedding. While DeepVeer looked radiant in their colour co-ordinated golden and red traditional outfits, it was Ranveer Singh's mehendi that caught everyone's attention.

Photos and videos of Ranveer and Deepika waving at their fans from the former’s residence went viral on social media. Now, there is something intriguing in the photos of Ranveer waving at the people surrounding his house.

On taking a closer look, we see that Ranveer Singh’s mehendi contains his wife, Deepika’s name but in a symbolic way.

It’s not really the alphabets proclaiming Deepika’s name but the symbol of a diya, also called deep (for Deep in Deepika). 'Deep' literally means 'light'.

Even as fans wait for the couple to host their wedding receptions, in Bengalaru (on Wednesday) and Mumbai (Nov 28), more pictures from their intimate Italian nuptials have started doing the rounds on social media.

The couple first got married on November 14 in a traditional Konkani ceremony, which was followed by a Sindhi wedding on November 15.

Both the functions were fiercely intimate, with just about 40 guests in attendance and a ban on prying mobile phones and paparazzi. The security at the wedding venues was reportedly at par with that provided for a meeting of world leaders.

Upon their return to India, DeepVeer is expected to make their first public appearance during their Bengaluru reception on November 21. They will next host another reception in Mumbai for their friends in the film industry on November 28.
