A wax statue of Deepika Padukone is all set to be unveiled at Madame Tussauds London. The couple has left for the inauguration event on Tuesday night.

Newlywedded couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were spotted leaving for London, late night on Tuesday, to unveil her wax statue at Madame Tussauds museum. The couple arrived in their white Aston Martin, which Ranveer himself was driving. At the Mumbai airport, they were papped walking hand in hand. The actor was still in his rocker chic look while Deepika Padukone wore a tangerine track suit.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are at the pinnacle of their respective careers. While Deepika is one of the most sought-after actresses in Bollywood, Ranveer Singh has come out as the hit machine of the film industry. His last three films Gully Boy, Padmaavat and Simmba were massive box office hits.  Both the actors have big projects in their kitty. It won’t be an overstatement to say that they are the new power couple of Bollywood.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been dating each other for the past six years. After keeping their relationship under the wraps, they took everyone by surprise by announcing their wedding in October last year. The couple finally tied the knot in a hush-hush wedding at Lake Como, Italy. They hosted three wedding receptions for their family and the film fraternity.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will start working on Meghna Gulzar’s next Chhapaak, which will also have Vikrant Massey in the lead role. The filming will start by the end of this month. Director Meghna Gulzar has already started doing recce in Delhi for her project. Deepika is also bankrolling the film, marking her debut in production.
