Anushka Sharma to open animal shelter and veterinary hospital in Maharashtra
Anushka Sharma and her love for animals is undeniable. Ever since her pet dog Dude came into her life, she became a doting mother to her pooch. In fact, in her interviews, she revealed how she quitted eating non-veg because of her pet dog. Actually, Dude didn’t like the smell of meat which compelled Anushka to quit eating it. Also, time and again, the Sui Dhaaga actress has spoken about her love for animals through her social media posts.
According to the recent reports, Anushka Sharma has purchased a land in Maharashtra to build a veterinary hospital there. She has received the clearance from Thane’s collector office to build the hospital. The actress also wants to build a villa on the land for her dad, since he will be going to overlook the animal shelter and hospital. Last year in May, she announced the news on her birthday.
On the work front, Anushka Sharma has not signed any Bollywood project. She is going to produce a Netflix movie Bulbul, which is a period film based on the superstitions. It seems like the actress is going to devote most of her time for the animal shelter and hospital.
