In a shocking incident, a massive fired broke out in La Mer building, a Mumbai high rise society, where Aishwarya Rai Bachchan owns a flat. The incident took place on Tuesday evening and, as soon as the news started doing the rounds, the actress rushed to her flat to visit her mother Brindya Rai with husband Abhishek Bachchan. The fire broke out on the 13th floor of the building and Aishwarya’s mother stays on the 12th floor while cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar lives on the tenth floor.
According to latest reports, 8 fire-tenders were at the site to douse the fire. The report also added that no casualty has been reported as of now.
It was said that Aishwarya broke down thinking about the worse that could have happened. However, she heaved a sigh of relief that the incident didn’t turn into an unfortunate event.
What caused the fire in the 16 storeyed building is still unknown. Aishwarya Rai used to live in the La Mer flat before she got married to Abhishek in 2007.
Currently, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actress stays in Juhu with her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan, husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.
On the work front, Aishwarya will be seen next in Fanney Khan, an upcoming musical comedy film directed by Atul Manjrekar. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.
The film is the Hindi adaptation of the Dutch film "Everybody's Famous". Produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the movie is slated for a worldwide release on April 13, 2018.
