Mumbai, Jul 12: Veteran Bollywood actor Pran aka Pran Nath Sikand has been admitted to Lilawati Hospital here again, after his condition became serious, sources said.
Doctors today said his condition was now stable.
Pran has been hospitalized again after he felt uneasiness in breathing. His family members are at his bedside.
The 93-year-old actor was given the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest honour in Indian cinema, on May 10 by Information & Broadcasting Minsiter Manish tewari at his residence in Mumbai.
Because of poor health, Pran could not make it to the 60th National Film Awards ceremony held in Delhi in May.
Pran has acted in over 400 movies in a career spanning over six decades and played a vast range of roles - from a hero to a villain to a character artiste.
