New Delhi: We have already told you that Shah Rukh and Kajol have been finalised for Rohit Shetty's next.
Now B-town is abuzz that Rohit Shetty's next project with Happy New Year actor is rumoured to be a remake of Big B's Hum.
According to media reports, SRK will be seen playing Big B's character in the film and for Govinda and Rajinikanth's character Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are being considered but nothing has been finalised yet.
As per quoted by a daily, a source close to the director said, “Rohit's next film, starring SRK, will be a remake of the '90s hit film, Hum and currently, things are being finalised for the same.”
“For Govinda and Rajinikanth's characters, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are being considered but nothing has been finalised yet. Rohit is still working on the film's script and Kajol will also be a part of this film,” added the source.
It is being said that Singham Returns director is making a few changes to the original to accommodate Kajol's character in the film.
Shah Rukh had earlier stepped into Big B's shoes in Don. If the rumours are true, it will be interesting to see how Shah Rukh Khan plays hot-blooded roguish Tiger immortalised by Amitabh Bachchan. The script is still being finalised and Rohit is tight lipped about the project.
Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty's last venture 'Chennai Express' was a huge hit, so expectations from them are sky high.
If you brush up your memory a little, there were rumours about a month ago that Chennai Express filmmaker was thinking Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi with Shah Rukh, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
If the sources are to be believed, then it looks like Hum has Rohit Shetty's attention, prompting him to remake the old hit.
