The director paints her and few other characters who provide the required genuine laughs with some witty dialogues written by Kabir himself. There is a new anchor who pops up plenty of times with her bulletins wrapped in poetries and lines inspired by Bollywood flicks. She uses them to finally give her judgment. It brings a big smile as we also mock few TV anchors who are in awe of adding spice to even a normal story.

Balli, Alka's mama (Piyush Mishra) too is given some brilliant scenes to excel in. Kabir brings out the shrewdness with him who can go to any depth to extend his existence in the political world. Along  with him, the twist which comes in at the end isn't extraordinary but works for time being.

Kabir influentially balances the action and love elements in the flick. Of course one would feel that how a politician like Alka can be so berserk for her love and fashion but its attitude which Kabir portrays through Kangana.

She is the one, who is not looking back again. The actress after ‘Queen' has come up with stronger performance this time. Her dialogue delivery with performance is extra ordinary. You might disown this flick but would love to take her back home. None is the scene which goes without an impact and Kangana makes no mistake in bringing out the appropriate expression.

Vir Das excels in his act. He meticulously plays the Bollywood struggler cum a toy boy. He isn't entirely comical but has a different shade to his character.

Piyush Mishra is once again brilliant in his act. Looks like he jumps straight out from ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur' and lands here but with a different twist. He is a ‘Shakuni Mama' for Alka.

Pankaj Saraswat and Zakir Hussain are great in executing a shrewd politician cum goon.

Music by Sanjeev Srivastava is good and delves well with the scene. The background score is brilliant.

I'll go with three stars for Kangana's Revolver Rani. It isn't a entirely comical nor fully serious but Kangana once again takes her share of applause from us and it could be watched for her.
