Bollywood actor Neha Dhupia had a far meatier role than Katrina Kaif in DE DANA DAN. While Katrina Kaif was there as a star attraction, Neha Dhupia had a certain character graph to her which made her keep her head high despite the film being an Akshay Kumar starrer, says a media report.
While Neha went on to collect quite a few accolades coming her way, Katrina added another hit under her belt. However, the film added more value to Neha's career as she continued her hit streak with Akshay Kumar after SINGH IS KINNG.
Now that she would be seen with the superstar again in ACTION REPLAYY, one wonders whether history would repeat herself? This Vipul Shah film has Aishwarya Rai as the leading protagonist and it would be quite a pleasant surprise if the magic repeats all over again. If Neha comes up with a performance worthy enough to make a huge impact despite the presence of Ash, rest assured there would be screaming headlines all over again.
"Well, the intent is not to hog the limelight", Neha refuses to bite the bait, "Yes, people have appreciated me in DE DANA DAN and SINGH IS KINNG where I had a strong character to portray. However, my intention is to do good work and not to beat the competition."
Still, isn't it flattering for to be compared to Ash and Katrina?
"Of course it is", Neha doesn't deny the fact, "But then as I said, none of that has to be looked at as if we are in are arena and out there to defeat anyone. This is a good place to work and as far as everyone is delivering well and continuing to come together for the benefit of the film, it works best for everyone involved."
