Bollywood star Bipasha Basu danced to the tunes of Seventies and Eighties at the fabulous New Year Eve bash at Sahara Hotel in Mumbai on Thursday night.
Bipasha danced to tunes like ‘Pyar Zindagi Hai', ‘Koi Yahaan Aaha Nache Nache' (an old Usha Uthup number), ‘Laila Main Laila', ‘Jab Chhaye Mera Jadoo' and the hippies number ‘Dum Maro Dum', which left most of the audience disappointed.
The food and beverages package for the bask was Rs 11,500 per head. There were other packages for those who booked rooms at the hotel for the night.
Bipasha was reportedly paid Rs 2 crore for the 15-minute performance. Says Vivek Kumar, CEO, Sahara Hotel, : “She is priceless. We do not attach any price tag, but yes there are certain commitments that will be fulfilled”.
