Mahesh Bhupathi and Lara Dutta made their relationship official after their first public appearance together at the recent Idea 55th Filmfare Awards. Apparently, they're now moving up a rung on the commitment ladder, says a media report.
Mahesh, who lives in Bangalore, is shifting base to Mumbai to be with Lara. He has rented a flat in Nibbana building (Pali Hill), which is less than ten minutes away from Lara's residence at St Paul's Road, Bandra.
In fact, Lara accompanied Mahesh to Nibbana when he took the final decision. A source from Nibbana says, "A couple of days ago, Mahesh shifted his belongings to our building. Before he finalised the deal, he came with Lara and a real estate agent in the afternoon to see the flat on the 12th floor in B-wing. That flat belongs to Jaya Jhaveri."
Is Lara going to move in with Mahesh, we wonder. Joyprakash Chhetry, the secretary of Nibbana building, just said, "Mahesh is in the process of shifting. His leave license agreement with us is for a year, which can be extended."
Mahesh split with his wife Shvetha Jaishankar while Lara has broken up with Dino Morea (who is now back with his ex, Nandita Mahtani) who she was seeing after parting ways with her long time boyfriend Kelly Dorjee.
