The common factor between Main Khildi Tu Anari and Housefull is that Akshay Kumar is wearing a blue shirt in both the films, says a media report.

Those who have grown up watching films from the 90s can remember the chartbuster track 'Chura Ke Dil Mera' which became a tremendous hit, courtesy it's addictive beats and coming together of Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty.

More than a decade and a half later, Akshay can be seen jiving to the beats of the number 'Oh Girl You're Mine', this time around with Deepika Padukone in tow.

However, what hasn't changed is the blue shirt that he has worn in both the songs.

It was basically director Sajid Khan's idea to bring on some nostalgia from Akshay's past work.

Since he believed that this shirt could well act as a lucky charm, keeping in mind the fact that 'Chura Ke Dil Mera' has stayed on to be such a popular number for years, he felt it would make just the right sense to make Akshay wear a ditto shirt in 'Oh Girl...' as well.

"Yes, this is one of those sweet-n-little things that I like incorporating in my films", smiles Sajid who has been known to be an ardent movie buff, "I remembered what Akshay had worn then and though we couldn't get the same shirt for obvious reasons, we got a new one stitched for him in Housefull. With its beach setting and a 'masti' mood, it made complete sense to have Akshay wear this shirt all over again. It seems just like yesterday."
