Television serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is all set to take a dramatic turn after its male lead Naitik Singhania will be shot at in the upcoming episode.

This has come at time when the Singhania family is already going through a lot of twists and turns. From the romantic dream sequence between Naira and Kartik, to Nannu’s drug addiction getting exposed in front of the family followed by Dadi’s accident, the daily soap has already seen a lot of melodrama lately.

Naitik (played by Vishal Singh), according to media reports, who was said to be in Kenya so far, will be seen doing a Ganesh Aarti in the Indian Embassy there. Apparently, Akshara (played by Hina Khan) too will be seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi at the same time back home in Udaipur.

It is then that a stranger will be seen shooting Naitik with a gun, reportedly aiming to kill him.

The upcoming episode will also mark the entry of the ‘Dekh Bhai Dekh’ actor Vishal Singh in show, who has replaced Karan Mehra for the role of Naitik.

So will Naitik die in the next episode?

Well the answer is no. Call it Ganesha’s magic or the writer’s twist, Naitik will be saved. After all, how can the hero die just like that.

And now this attack on Naitik will only add up the drama quotient on the show.

In fact, Vishal has already started shooting for the sequence and is quite excited to be a part of the show.

While the makers have planned a grand entry for Vishal Singh aka Naitik, we wonder if he’ll be able to do justice to the aura created by Karan Mehra.
