At a time when the entire nation is waiting for Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s sentencing, Akshay Kumar’s witty wife and actress Twinkle Khanna has reacted on the Dera Sacha Sauda chief. In her new blog, Mr Funnybones has taken a hilarious jibe at Ram Rahim and the ongoing protests in support of the self-acclaimed God man. The 42-year-old actress-author poured her heart out on her blog and, sarcastically remarked that after watching MSG: The Messenger’s trailer, she was so hooked that she began her own MSG club.
She also added that When husband Akshay’s Jolly LLB 2 came head-to-head with Ram Rahim’s Hind Ka Napak Ko Jawab at the box-office, she was confused as to which movie she would go for.
Not only this, After the CBI court in Panchkula convicted Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, violence erupted in Punjab and Haryana. Twinkle Khanna at once took to Twitter and said,"Our fault Babas exist as we turn towards them like silly sunflowers looking for the sun, forgetting that a halo is just a trick of the light!
Coming back to her latest blog, the actress added, “The Love Charger had moved into my neighbourhood. I feverishly posted about my new neighbour along with pictures of garlanded bottles of Chinese seasoning. Soon enough, his top aide got hold of my number and, politely, asked me to shut the hell up.”
In the interesting piece, Twinkle Khanna also mentioned how The Kapil Sharma show comedian Kiku Sharda, once got jailed for imitating the Ram Rahim Baba. She suggested that the comedian should visit a Chinese restaurant and celebrate with some non-MSG food.
On the work front, the actress will soon come up with her third book. "A third book by Twinkle Khanna is happening. It will come in November, but she is in the writing process as of now," said Anish Chandy, Head of Business Development at Juggernaut Books.
