Actress Sonakshi Sinha, whose upcoming film ‘Noor’ is based on Saba Imtiaz’s novel "Karachi, You're Killing Me!" has recently revealed that an astrologer once told her that books are lucky for her. Sonakshi further added that she doesn’t believe in astrology, thus was amused by the astrologer's statement.

Though Sonakshi does not believe in these things, she was amused by the astrologer's statement.

Earlier, Sonakshi was praised by critics for her performance in Vikramaditya Motwane's 2013 film "Lootera", which was an adaptation of "The Last Leaf" by O.Henry.

"I don't believe in these things but it is a happy filmy coincidence. ‘Noor' and ‘Lootera' both are films very close to my heart," Sonakshi said in a statement.

Directed by Sunhil Sippy, "Noor", which also features Kanan Gill, Shibani Dandekar and Purab Kohli, is slated to release on April 21.

The lady will also be sharing screen space for the first time Siddharth Malhotra in 'Ittefaq', which is the remake of 1969 suspense thriller
