Vipul Amrutlal Shah is back with Namaste England, which will make the fans of 2007 hit Namaste London go down the memory lane. Starring Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor, the movie brings the two actors together after their debut film Ishaqzaade in 2012. Makers of Namaste England have finally dropped the trailer of the flick and it is not promising.
Shot in Punjab and London, the movie revolves around these two places. Arjun plays the role of Param while Parineeti is Jasmeet. The very first scene of the trailer reminds you of Tum Tak song of Raanjhanaa. The scenes in the trailer do not display emotions convincingly. There is also a lack of dose of humour, which the was USP of Namaste London. Check out the trailer below:
How far can you go for love? Presenting the #NamasteEnglandTrailer. https://t.co/elWUbXNaJc@NamasteEngFilm @ParineetiChopra @RelianceEnt @PenMovies #VipulAmrutlalShah @jayantilalgada @sonymusicindia @erosnow #BlockbusterMovieEntertainers— Arjun Kapoor (@arjunk26) September 6, 2018
From what it seems from the trailer, the movie comes nowhere close either to Namaste London or Ishaqzaade. However, both Parineeti and Arjun's fans are excited about the film and we hope that the movie emerges out to be a better watch. Arjun and Parineeti share a close bond since the release of their first film and it feels good to see them back together on screen.
Arjun and Parineeti's silly banter has been keeping Twitterati engaged. The actors pull each other's leg and mock each other but surprisingly a few days back, Parineeti shared an emotional letter for Arjun. She wrote, ''Non judgemental and caring, Arjun has truly taught me how to handle this complex industry and business. He has the right to scream at me when I mess up, and vice versa. 3am friend? Totally''. Both of them poured their hearts out and it left their fans gushing over their friendship.

As I stand at the eve of the trailer launch of arguably my biggest film, I cant help but feel a little emotional. This was a film I had dreamt of doing for a long time, and when I stood on the set in a traditional Indian outfit for the very first time, I felt like I was home. I dont think I would have wanted to share this journey with anybody else but Arjun. He is my most compatible co star, trustworthy mentor and honest friend. I can totally be myself and never have to apologise for it. Non judgemental and caring, Arjun has truly taught me how to handle this complex industry and business. He has the right to scream at me when I mess up, and vice versa. 3am friend? Totally. Everyone knows him for his intelligence and knowledge about this business, his witty humour but for me its his family values and beautiful upbringing that sets him apart as a person. I dont know if we realise it, we are same-same but different 😜 Thanks baba for being my bouncing board, my partner in crime and my true true true friend. Thankyou for understanding me even when I dont say anything! Thankyou for always listening, whether its my rubbish or my advice!! I hope this friendship continues forever, and also show in the beautiful love story we have made in Namaste England. No this is NOT a plug in for the film, this is an honest thank you note to my teacher, because baba you’ve truly taught me a lot (also because we will never say such nice things in person 🤣)! Love you! Now please RTGS 75 million my bank account by Monday thanks. @arjunkapoor
The duo even shot for a magazine in which they looked stunning and this made their fans jump out of joy. They even started asking the actors to get hitched. In response to fans' demands, Arjun Kapoor wrote, ''This chokra is jawaan and in no hurry to get married.... @ParineetiChopra pls wait While I age gracefully and consider my options...'' In no time, Parineeti replied, ''Oh nooo sheeeeee Arjun Kapoor please excuse me I dont have dates .. please contact my manager @arjunk26''.
Namaste England is slated to hit theaters on 19th October.
