Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming movie ‘Pink’ recently made it to the headlines after its trailer was launched.
Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Tapsee Pannu and Kirti Kulhari in the lead, ‘Pink’ is a story of three girls who were trapped in a criminal case. They are tried in court for an attempt to murder case and defaming some men. Interestingly, Big B plays the role of a lawyer and his bold dialogues did make everyone’s jaw drop.
The trailer received rave reviews from the audience and Taapsee Pannu is overwhelmed with the appreciation the trailer of her film ‘Pink’ has received.
The trailer, which was launched on August 9, has already crossed six million views on YouTube.
"I am not in India right now to feel the buzz that the trailer has created but from what I get to know and see online, it seems we have struck all the right notes... The appreciation is overwhelming," Taapsee said in a statement.
Helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, ‘Pink’ has been produced by "Piku", "Madras Cafe" and "Vicky Donor" fame director Shoojit Sarkar.
The crime thriller is scheduled to release on September 16.
