TV actress Ankita Lokhande, who was last seen in Pavitra Rishta, is all set to make her Bollywood debut with actress Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The gorgeous lady will be seen playing the role of Rani Laxmibai’s right hand, Jhalkaribai in the film. The actress was very happy as she talked about her character to a leading daily that not much people are aware of Jhalkaribai, who was one of the greatest heroes of the history.

Ankita said that it is a great honour for her to narrate Jhalkaribai’s story. She added that she is thankful to Kamal Jain for giving her the opportunity to work in the mega project scripted by Baahubali scriptwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad. Ankita is excited to start the shooting in August.

The actress was lately in news after her breakup with actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Both of them dated for almost six years and were also planning to get married. Later, they parted ways giving shock to all their fans.

Speculations about Ankita’s Bollywood debut were doing rounds from quite some time but nothing official was being said on the same. Now, the gorgeous lady has made it clear that she is starting her Bollywood career with a talented and versatile actress Kangana. It is yet to be seen if she manages to make the best use of this opportunity.
