Student of the Year 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: This Tiger Shroff film witnesses growth, earns Rs 26 crore

Karan Johar's new set of students for the 2019 batch: Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria made it to the cinema halls on May 10 with Student od the Year 2. The college drama, which earned Rs 12.06 crore on its first day, witnessed substantial growth on Saturday by minting Rs 14.02 crore, taking the total box-office collection to Rs 26.08 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the latest Student of the Year 2 Box Office Collection on social media. "#StudentOfTheYear2 witnesses growth on Day 2, but lacks the appreciation for a solid jump... Mumbai, Delhi, NCR plexes performing better... #IPL2019Final today [Sun] will hit biz, evening onwards... Fri 12.06 cr, Sat 14.02 cr. Total: ₹ 26.08 cr. India biz. #SOTY2".

Student of the Year 2 is the sequel to the 2012 hit 'Student of The Year', which marked the Bollywood debut of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra.

This installment marked the debut of Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria.

The film also has a special appearance by Hollywood star Will Smith along with Alia Bhatt, the ex-student from the prequel, gracing a special number with Tiger- 'Hook Up Song'.

Helmed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar, the film had hit the screens on May 10.
