Veteran actress Sridevi passed away after suffering cardiac arrest leaving everybody in a state of shock. The lady was in Dubai for the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah when this incident took place. She was happily married to Boney Kapoor for more than two decades and has two daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. It seems that the God has snatched the actress from the producer. Boney has earlier revealed that it was love at first sight for her. He fell for the actress when he saw her in the Tamil film and also went to Chennai to meet her but as the actress was in Singapore for shooting, he couldn’t meet her. After watching the actress in 1979 film Solva Sawan, he approached her for Mr India, but she redirected him to her mother, who demanded Rs 10 lakh. As the producer wanted to be close to the lady, he offered Rs 11 lakh.

He tried hard to make the actress feel comfortable on the sets of Mr. India. The lady also started liking him. Boney went to Switzerland to spend some time with her when she was shooting for Chandni. The producer was already married to Mona Shourie Kapoor and had two kids Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. After coming back, he told his first wife about what he felt for Sridevi.

Earlier, the lady in an interview revealed that it was hard for her realise that Boney was the right man for her. After facing lots of struggles both the stars finally got married in 1996.
