Sonchiriya The Daaku Anthem Song: Rebels Sushant Singh Rajput, Manoj Bajpayee set to impress

Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer dacoit drama Sonchiriya, which is set to hit the screens on March 1, has been making quite the buzz. The makers have dropped a song from the film today. Titled The Daaku Anthem Song, it features Sushant Singh Rajput, Manoj Bajpayee and their gang of dacoits. The song is written and sung by Abhishek Nailwal and is composed by Ketan Sodha. The Daaku Anthem has a catchy tune that stays with you for long time.

Taking to Instagram, Sushant Singh Rajput shared The Daaku Anthem Song with ".caption that said, "बाग़ियों ke beehad mein hamesha शान्ति rehti है, sab bade प्यार se joh rehte hai! Miliye inse 1st March से aapke nazdeki सिनेमाघरों में! @sushantsinghrajput @bhumipednekar @bajpayee.manoj @ranvirshorey #AshutoshRana #AbhishekChaubey #RonnieScrewvala @zeemusiccompany @rsvpmovies #Sonchiriya".

Sonchiriya will have a box office clash with Dinesh Vijan's Lukka Chuppi which stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead role. In the movie, Kartik will be seen playing the role of a reporter.

The film is set in the 1970s, and showcases a small town ruled and dominated by dacoits. Multiple gangs fight to attain power. The cast dons fierce avatars in sync with the theme of the film.

Earlier while shooting for the film in Chambal, Sushant had told IANS, "Shooting for Abhishek Chaubey’s film is on full swing. I came here in Chambal early to do a bit of warm-up for the film. Visiting ravines, talking to locals, working on dialect and inflection and a bit of cut-off from everything before the shoot helps keep the right things in perspective."

Shot in the valleys of Madhya Pradesh, it also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in key roles.

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, it is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and releases on March 1.
