Sonchiriya New Trailer Out: Meet the characters of Manoj Bajpayee, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer dacoit drama

The new trailer of Sonchiriya begins with dacoits looting a house immersed in wedding festivities.

Sonchiriya New Trailer Out

Makers of upcoming movie Sonchiriya have released a new trailer of the dacoit drama, introducing all its main characters. Set in the valley of Chambal, Sonchiriya promises to be a high-octane drama with blood and gore. Moreover, the ensemble star cast of the film, which includes Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey, Bhumi Pednekar, Sushant Singh Rajput and Ashutosh Rana have multiplied our expectations. One thing is for sure that viewers will get to see a spectacular performance. 

The new trailer which is of 1 minute and 58 seconds begins with dacoits looting a house immersed in wedding festivities. The trailer then goes on to introduce its characters. While Sushant plays Lakhna and Manoj Bajpayee is Man Singh, Shorey plays Vakil Singh. Bhumi is Indumati whereas Rana plays cop Gujjar. 

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the new trailer. Watch the first trailer and teaser of Abhishek Chaubey's directorial Sonchiriya below. Choubey is known for helming films like Udta Punjab, Ishqiya and Dedh Ishqiya.

Earlier while shooting for the film in Chambal, Sushant had told IANS, "Shooting for Abhishek Chaubey’s film is on full swing. I came here in Chambal early to do a bit of warm-up for the film. Visiting ravines, talking to locals, working on dialect and inflection and a bit of cut-off from everything before the shoot helps keep the right things in perspective."

Sonchiriya is produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
