Actor Sanjay Dutt has started the shooting of his comeback film ‘Bhoomi’ in Agra. The project has been helmed by Omung Kumar and the muhurat shot was taken yesterday.
The film will be shot in an old haveli in Bamrauli Katara, a village on the outskirts of the city, along with Taj Ganj streets and Mehtab Bagh across the river Yamuna.
Film production sources said the shooting will continue till mid-March. Omung, with his wife Vanita arrived on Monday to finalise locations.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film will mark Sanjay Dutt's comeback after his incarceration in Yerwada Jail for illegal possession of arms. The film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari in a prominent role.
The film explores the beautiful relationship of father and daughter. Telly actor Sharad Kelkar will be seen playing the antagonist in the movie.
Omung Kumar has previously received praises for films like ‘Mary Kom’ and ‘Sarbjit’. Sanjay will also work on the third part of ‘Munnabhai’ franchise.
