Today, India is celebrating its 69th Republic Day – the day when India's constitution came into force. As mobiles phones have been buzzing since morning with Republic Day wishes, our Bollywood celebs too aren't far behind. 

Several Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh BachchanSalman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Kajol, Ajay Devgn, etc. took to social media to send out their wishes to their followers and fellow countrymen on the occasion.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "T 2594 - Watching Republic Day Parade in Delhi .. what a moment of pride .. tears welling up as the Army marches past .. memories of the early years in Delhi, when we would clamour for seats to watch the parade ! JAI HIND !!".

Man of the hour, Ranveer Singh, who has cast his spell on fans with his villainous role in 'Padmaavat', also sent out greetings with a picture of himself proudly holding the Indian flag and a not that read, "Happy Republic Day!"

Actor Riteish Deshmukh wrote, "I am an INDIAN before I am anything else. Jai Hind. #Justice #Liberty #Equality #Fraternity #HappyRepublicDay".

Actress Anushka Sharma tweeted, "United we stand, divided we fall. Happy #RepublicDay to you all! Jai Hind!".

TV actress Hina Khan wrote, “Celebrating the day with the loveliest souls.. Wish you all a very Happy Republic Day! Let’s create a better tomorrow this #RepublicDay !”

Actor Varun Dhawan tweeted, “#happyrepublicday2018. Let’s always protect our country and never allow people to gain from dividing us. Have a great day.”

 

Actor Manoj Bajpayee posted, “HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY TO ALL THE FELLOW COUNTRYMEN.”

Actor Ajay Devgan tweeted, “Salute to our Armed Forces for letting us have a #RepublicDay”

Actor Suniel Shetty wrote, “Always proud to be an Indian. Jai Hind #HappyRepublicDay”

Kajol too took to Twitter to wish her fans on the special day. She wrote, “One Country, One People, One Flag. Happy #RepublicDay to all.”

Actor Vivek Oberoi also tweeted, and wrote, “Freedom in our minds,faith in our words,pride in our hearts & memories in our souls.Lets salute the sacrifice of all those that helped to build our great nation!
