After the Uri attack, the Pakistani artists were banned to work in Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, ‘Raees’ features Mahira Khan in a key role. The Producer of the movie Ritesh Sidhwani made it clear that if the makers find it important to include the Pakistani actress in the promotional events, they will definitely do it. He felt that it would not be difficult for Mahira to get visa.

Previously, Karan Johar’s ‘ADHM’ faced troubles because of the presence of Fawad Khan in the flick. The film was released only after the ace director shared a video requesting for the smooth release and stating that he would not include any Pakistani artist in his coming projects.

When asked if Mahira will come to promote the film in India, Sidhwani said, "I think when we start the promotions and if we find it necessary to involve her, bring her here, we will do it. I don't think there will be any restriction for her from the government or issuing visa to her will be a problem. We will decide about her involvement."

In the trailer Shah Rukh is seen romancing Mahira and when asked about his experience about working with her Shah Rukh said, "It was very nice." When prodded further if the makers fear another backlash, Shah Rukh interrupted, saying Sidhwani has already answered the question. The Rahul Dholakia-helmed film "Raaes" also stars Nawazuddin Siddqui and is now set to release on January 25. The movie was earlier scheduled to land in theatres on the Republic Day.
