After Mukkabaaz, maverick filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is again collaborating with director-producer Aanand L Rai for Manmarziyan. After many changes in its cast and director, the film has finally gone on floors. The film stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan, helmed by Anurag Kashyap.
With Manmarziyan, Junior Bachchan will stage a comeback on silver screen after almost two years. Film's another actor Vicky took to Instagram to share a picture with the team and captioned it, ''Really excited for this new journey to begin with this amazing team! #Manmarziyaan with @aanandlrai Sir, @anuragkashyap10 Sir, @taapsee & @bachchan.'' In Manmarziyan, Abhishek will romance Taapsee. Makers are also planning a romantic sequence in the snowfall amidst scenic landscape of Kashmir. ''There's a snowfall sequence that needs to be shot. Some portions will also be shot in Delhi,'' a source informed a leading tabloid.
Anurag whose recent release Mukkabaaz is winning hearts will start shooting for the flick once he is done with Netflix's original Sacred Games, starring Saif Ali Khan.
On a related note, the initial cast of the film included Bhumi Pednekar, Ayushamann Khurrana. Malayalam films star Dulquer Salmaan was also set to make his Bollywood debut with the movie, however, later he was replaced with Abhishek Bachchan for some unknown reasons. Also before Anurag Kashyap, first Sameer Arya and them Ashwiny Iyer Tiwary were said to be directing Manmarziyan.
On professional front, Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Taapsee will feature in a sports drama Soorma with Diljit Dosanjh.
