Manmarziyaan New Song Daryaa: This new song is all about unrequited love and its sufferings
Manmarziyaan has been dropping new audio songs every week ever since the trailer was launched. On Saturday, the makers unveiled a new soulful Punjabi track from the upcoming film which is all about love and hatred. Titled as 'Daryaa', the song describes how lovers opt for extremes to be with their loved ones. It is a pure bliss with a punch of high notes from the singers.
The 'Pink' actress took to her Twitter account and shared the video, writing, "Here's the video of this song which has taken away everyone's heart! #Daryaa #Manmarziyaan."
Sung by Ammy Virk and Shahid Mallya, the song is composed by Amit Trivedi while the lyrics are penned by Shellee.
'Manmarziyaan' will see the return of Abhishek Bachchan to the big screen after a gap of almost two years. The junior Bachchan was last seen in the 2016 rom-com 'Housefull 3'. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal in a pivotal role. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the flick will hit the big screens on September 14.
Helmed by Bollywood’s maverick Anurag Kashyap, Manmarziyaan is all about ‘imperfect love’. The film will present versatile actor Vicky Kaushal in a never-before avatar. He’s playing a happy-go-lucky Punjabi boy who cares about nothing but himself. Taapsee Pannu aka Rumi is playing his love interest who is married off to a sincere gentleman Abhishek Bachchan in an arranged marriage setup. The trailer of the film is already making a lot of noise among the Anurag Kashyap fans. Being written by Kashyap, viewers can expect an entirely different treatment of a seemingly normal love story.
