Was Deepika Padukone ‘the only one’ who knew about Karan Johar’s twin babies?
While KJo is all set to take over the television screen from today with his chat show, reports have revealed that Karan Johar, who kept his twins’ birth a secret, confided in Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone with the news. Going by the reports in DNA, it is said that not his mother Hiroo Johar or his BFF Shah Rukh Khan but it was Deepika Padukone who knew about Karan Johar’s babies. This big truth will be revealed in the premiere episode of Koffee With Karan which will have Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone as guests.
According to the reports, Deepika happened to call Karan when he just got to know that he could take his newly-born twins home. An emotional Karan couldn't hold back from sharing the news with her at that moment. However, he swore her to secrecy till he makes the big announcement. "Karan recalls that neither his mother Hiroo Johar nor his brother Shah Rukh Khan had any inkling about his parenthood plans. And until he himself announced it a couple of months later, Deepika was the only one who knew about it and kept her promise of not breathing a word to anyone," DNA quoted a source as saying.

Singer Anu Malik asked to step down as Indian Idol 10 judge after sexual harassment allegations
Bollywood singer and composer Anu Malik has also been surrounded by the ongoing #MeToo wave. After sexual harassment allegation by Shweta Pandit and singer Sona Mohapatra, reports have suggested that the singer-composer is asked to step down from his seat as the judge of the popular singing reality show Indian Idol 10. Anu Malik was seen judging the show along with Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani.
According to the reports in Pinkvilla, Anu Malik is asked to step down till the case is being investigated and will soon be replaced by another Bollywood singer. The singer was recently accused of sexual harassment by Shweta Pandit and Sona Mohapatra following which two more survivors opened up on their horrific experiences with the singer. While Anu Malik has clearly denied knowing Sona Mohapatra, he has refused to acknowledge any allegations leveled against him by Shweta.

Parineeti Chopra finally opens up about Arjun Kapoor's dadi calling her ‘perfect bride’ for him
This is no secret that Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra share a very close bond. The actress has even revealed that she is very possessive about her co-star from Namaste England, Arjun Kapoor, and o one can say anything bad to him when she is around. Maybe it is their offscreen chemistry that made Arjun’s Dadi think that Parineeti is the perfect bride for her grandson. Now the actress has also finally reacted to the statement and said that it is a cute compliment.
During an interview with BollywoodLife, Parineeti Chopra addressed the question about Arjun’s dadi’s statement and said, "Literally everything has been said about that (laughs). It’s a very sweet thing his dadi said genuinely. And that is just because she felt that we looked good together. Or the chemistry or the love story was very believable. And both of us also yes…the love for each other and the friendship is really honest. To find an honest friend, I just value that too much. I just value him too much. So, when that translates on-screen and people like his family members or even my family…The fact that our families are able to forget that both of us are actors and they genuinely believe that ‘both of them look like they are in a love story’, that’s a very positive compliment." However, she paused right after, looked at Arjun and both of them broke into, "Otherwise, yeh ho nahi payega!"

#MeToo: Star India internal panel writes to anonymous accuser to come forward
The Internal Complaints Committee of Star India on Sexual Harassment (Star ICC) has written to the anonymous accuser -- who had alleged "sexual exploitation" of women employees -- asking her to reach out to the committee or its external member on allegations made by her in tweets.
In a Twitter post on Friday, Star ICC, formed under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 said it had reached out to the accuser through two emails on the ID provided by her through her tweets. The committee's external member is Veena Gowda, a Mumbai-based woman rights lawyer.
The accuser, who tweeted through handle @ApurvaS17 -- saying she would remain anonymous -- had made sexual harassment allegations against the company's officials in an open letter.
