Kapil Sharma gives it back to Farah Khan for her ‘mannerless’ remark on Twitter

Kapil Sharma who recently appeared in Rajiev Dhingra’s Firangi reacted to filmmaker Farah Khan’s ‘mannerless’ remark. The year has been very eventful for the ace-comedian. From fallout with Sunil Grover to love announcement, a lot took place in Kapil Sharma’s life. His recent film Firangi proved to be a failure at box office, while receiving tepid response from the critics. He had organised a special screening of his film last week for his friends in the industry. But his WhatsApp invite wasn’t taken well with Farah Khan.

Mentioning Farah’s comment, Kapil Sharma said, “in whatever way I thought correct I had invited all my friends from the film industry.”

According to skjbollywoodnews.com, Kapil said, “We had a show on Thursday. In whatever way I thought correct I had invited all my friends from the  film industry. It was mostly attended by cast crew and our friends and family. I hope my big powerful friends in the  film industry will see the film later.”

His director Rajiev Dhingra also defended the Firangi actor and said, “I don’t understand this negativity surrounding Kapil. Why is he being treated like this? Could it be he has offended important people  by just being who he is? Even the reviews for  Firangi are pretty harsh.I don’t think we deserve  such condemnation.”

Earlier, Farah Khan took to Twitter and posted a cryptic tweet targeting the people who she thinks are ‘mannerless’ to invite her for the screening with a ‘janta invite’. She was referring to the broadcast or bulk messages on WhatsApp. She expressed her displeasure over people who send her invites over messages for attending premiers/previews.

She wrote, “Dear Mannerless people,if u want me 2 attend ur premier/preview/party DON,T send me a “ janta invite” on WhatsApp! U r not doing me a favour! The least u can do is make a personal call. If u cant find the time for it what makes u think i hav time 2 get ready n cm for you??! .”

According to a report in SpotBoyE.com, Farah said, “It was not just Kapil Sharma. There were two to three other events happening on the same day. I was referring to all of them.”
