Kabir Singh teaser: Vijay Deverakonda, Karan JoharSidharth Malhotra laud Shahid Kapoor's 'super vibe'

Kabir Singh tease starring Shahid Kapoor, which hit the internet yesterday, has been creating much buzz everywhere. The movie directed by Sandeep Vanga is the Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. The original flick starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey was also directed by Vanga.

Besides Shahid Kapoor's fans, several celebrities such as Vijay Deverakonda, Karan Johar, Sidharth Malhotra and others have come forward extending warm wishes to Shahid Kapoor and praising him for his excellent acting skills.

Kabir Singh will be hitting the theatres on June 21, 2019. The film is based on the remake of the original movie Arjun Reddy.

Arjun Reddy was a successful, young medical surgeon who led to the path of self-destruction and all odds after being hurt in love. His lady love was forced to marry another man and this led to a deep impact on Arjun Reddy.'

In a recent interview, Shahid Kapoor said the team of Kabir Singh had tried to keep the original film's intensity and honesty alive. "The original was very raw, very honest. I don't think there was anything in the film that was for effect. I just felt it said things as it is and was a brazen journey of a character who goes through an emotional arc which is extreme. The honesty of the film connected with the audience. Otherwise for a film like that, there would be a limited audience. But it was loved across the board. The idea is to do it all over again," the Padmaavat actor said.
