Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan recently hosted a special party for all the female winners of Filmfare Awards 2018. From Vidya Balan to Konkana Sen, many renowned faces of the film industry graced the event. The picture was shared by Secret Superstar fame Meher Vij, who won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. The pretty ladies were all smiles and the pic will make you believe that there are many powerful women who managed to make place for themselves in the male dominated society.

Swara Bhaskar, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and many other stars graced the party.

Bollywood has always been dominated by male stars. However, these days female artists are coming forward with same great concepts. From delivering powerful performances to doing great work in direction, female artists are exploring different fields.

On a related note, Vidya won the award for Best Actor In A Leading Role - Female (Popular) whereas Konkana was honoured with the Best Debut Director award for A Death In The Gunj.
